Mountain climbing

There are various mountain climbing areas in the vicinity. We will explore the areas of Fabriano, Foce and Meschia in the coming months, so that you can climb mountains with us this summer.

• Fabriano There are various climbing areas in the surroundings of Fabriano. The Club Alpine Italiano (CAI) Fabriano looks after these areas very well. The routes are well-marked out and way stations have been provided. There are huge limestone rocks around the village of Castelletta with one or more rope lengths, a fine view and routes in degrees of difficulty ranging from 3 to 7.

• Foce The village of Foce lies idyllically between the high mountains of the Sibillini. You’ll have to walk for about half an hour from the parking place before you reach the foot of the wall. Several climbing routes of various rope lengths have been marked out here by CAI Amandola.

• Meschia This is a boulder paradise, but still undiscovered! Scores of rock formations, several metres high. A topo is available. Everybody can become acquainted with mountain and boulder climbing here. Even the advanced climber can get what he wants.
